Hello, I’m Jennifer, a SD wedding planner!
It all started in grade school…
I was always that friend in grade school that had the Lisa Frank notebook on hand. I have been organizing and planning long before anyone asked me to!
I started organizing bridal showers and church functions, and realized that I had a passion for helping people plan the perfect parties. I not only wanted them to look great, I wanted those who the parties were for to have as little stress as possible and to enjoy the moment; I wanted to be their fairy godmother.
The dream was born and I fall in love with every wedding and event I get to be apart of.
My bookings are exclusive and limited to allow me to invest as much time as I can into making your dreams into reality.
Outside of planning and wedding world…
I am a mom to 3 kiddos and have a wonderful husband.
We enjoy camping, family movie nights, and spending time with our big extended family.
Fun facts about me are you can usually see me sporting some sort of pink on any given day. My husband even had pink stones customized into my wedding ring! My favorite food is popcorn, my dream travel location is anywhere with mountains, and my favorite flower are peonies. That’s why I chose to feature that in my logo!
Not only do I love peonies because of how gorgeous they are, but they are also symbols of a long and happy marriage due to their ability to bloom for up to 100 years. Most importantly, they remind me of my grandma, since she had them growing outside her house, where I spent countless hours of my childhood. She taught me the importance of paying attention to details, and that attention to detail carries over into all my events.

I've always been the one planning and organizing work functions and friend's parties, and I fell in love. Staying in the background, making sure everything runs smoothly, helping others and lifting stress are what I love to do. Once I planned my own wedding in 2021, I realized just how vital a wedding planner is. As I started working with Jennifer, I have a new found love for planners and weddings. Helping couple's wedding dreams turn into a stress free reality is something that really speaks to me and brings me joy.
I grew up in Central Minnesota and attended college at Crown College and virtually at Southeast Technical Institute for an Associates in Business Administration. I love horseback riding, all things outdoors, and dabble in art when I feel up to it.
Lakyn Muilenburg
As a wedding assistant at Plan to Party, I’m passionate about creating unforgettable moments for couples on their special day. Growing up in the service and hospitality industry taught me the importance of care, attention to detail, and creating meaningful experiences for others. That same heart for service carries into my work today, both in weddings and in my family business as a Colon Hydrotherapist, where I continue to help others feel their best.
Empathy is at the core of why I love this job—I’m dedicated to making sure couples feel seen, heard, and truly celebrated. I thrive on being calm under pressure while focusing on the little details that make a big difference.
Outside of work, you can find me praising Jesus, loving on my niece, running with my dog Tito, listening to podcasts, and celebrating life’s moments—big or small! Being part of someone’s special day is such a privilege, and I’m honored to be part of the Plan to Party team, where we bring dream celebrations to life.
Raegan Beck
Once I was introduced to the world of event planning, I finally found my niche and have been jazzing up any family function or occasional dinner party with friends since! I am a Type A personality through and through and love to bring that trait alive when it comes to event planning. It is a true privilege to be trusted by our couples and allow me to help be a part of bringing their vision to life! Being a part of a couple's big day and being able to see them stress free truly means the world to me!
I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD and attended the University of South Dakota where I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. As well as being a Wedding Assistant at Plan to Party, I also work as an Event Designer at Prairie Lane Vintage Rentals. In my spare time, I love to get a casual dinner with friends, scroll Pinterest, and go to as many country concerts as possible!
Shawna Jorgensen
When I started planning my August 2024 wedding in 2023, I pretty much knew exactly how I wanted it, but I did not want any of my family to have to work on the day of my wedding. I wanted all of them to be able to come and celebrate alongside my now husband and I- that's when I reached out to Jennifer. From the moment I met Jennifer at Scooter’s for coffee I knew that she was going to be a part of my life for much longer than just my wedding season. I absolutely loved everything about planning my wedding with Jennifer, so when I saw a post online that she was looking for help, I immediately reached out. I was so excited when she said yes to me joining the team! Getting to see things start as plans on paper, and become a couple's dream come true, all while they get to just enjoy their wedding day is what gives me the most joy. (& yes, the Plan to Party team pulled off my dream wedding & it was SO much better than I could have ever imagined!)
I was born & raised in Sioux Falls, attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln (Go Big Red!) and now work as a director of property management when I'm not working on weddings or taking care of dogs. My husband and I have 4 of the most amazing rescue dogs, and yes, they were all in our wedding of course! Fun fact about my husband and I is that we have seen the band Coheed and Cambria in 8 states (10 cities) for a total of 10 shows and met them 3 times. We love traveling and attending concerts together whenever we get the chance!

Planning has always been a passion of mine, whether it’s coordinating family gatherings or organizing group events with friends. I thrive on being the one behind the scenes, ensuring everything runs smoothly so everyone else can enjoy the moment without worry. I’ve always had a creative spirit, and as an assistant wedding planner, I love helping bring couples’ visions to life. From the smallest details to the grandest designs, organizing and decorating are where my heart truly lies. I’m here to assist in making every element of your wedding day come together perfectly, so you can focus on what truly matters—celebrating love and creating memories.
Outside of planning your dream wedding you can find me working as a barista or enjoying quality time with my friends and family. I love listening to music and attending concerts when I can. I am a huge animal lover; you can almost always find me cuddled up to my dog or cat when at home. Whether it's relaxing with loved ones or embracing my creative side, I always find joy in the little things that make life special.
